MSC Cruises unveils the 2020-2021 winter season, which will see the presence of 3 ships located in Mediterranean Sea, 5 in the Caribbean and North America area, 2 in South Africa, 4 in South America and 2 in the Emirates.
Between the new entries, MSC Seaview’s cruises from Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the maiden season of MSC Virtuosa in the Mediterranean Sea and the first time that two different classes of MSC Cruises’ ships will be deployed in South Africa at the same time.
Let’s go on with the details of this summer season deployment.
MSC Virtuosa 🆕
The new flagship MSC Virtuosa will homeport in Genoa offering the classic 7-nights cruises in the Western Mediterranean Sea.
MSC Poesia and MSC Magnifica will offer long Mediterranean cruises from Genoa to Canary Island, Greece and Israel until the beginning of the year. Poesia will after leave for her first World Cruise while Magnifica will undergo the stretching project. In addition MSC Divina will stay in the Mediterranean Sea until January sailing weekly cruises.

MSC Divina will offer long caribbean cruises from Miami while MSC Seaside and MSC Meraviglia will offer two weekly itineraries to Eastern and Western Caribbean. In addition Meraviglia will sail three cruises from New York City.
During this season MSC Armonia will debut in Tampa. The ship will offer several four-to five-night short cruises.

MSC Seaview and MSC Lirica will homeport in the city hosting the 2020 Universal Exposition, Dubai. MSC Cruises will be Authorised Ticket Reseller for the Expo and cruise ships’ guests will have different benefits.
During this season MSC Grandiosa will debut in South America as the largest cruise ship ever homeported in the area. The ship will be joined by MSC Preziosa, MSC Orchestra and MSC Sinfonia. Scroll slideshows to see all itinearies.
This will mark the first time that two different classes of MSC Cruises’ ships will be deployed in South Africa at the same time. From December 2020 MSC Opera will homeport in Cape Town, joining MSC Musica, which will be based in Durban as of November.
Noteworthy will be MSC Opera only one expedition-style cruise to the Marion Island and its Special Nature Reserves. Scroll slideshows to see some itinearies.
MSC Bellissima will be deployed in Asia starting from Spring 2020 becoming MSC Cruises’ newest flagship for the region.
While the ship will be mostly based in Shanghai to serve the Chinese home market, she will also offer a number of sailings (here only three examples are showed) from Japan as well as some cruises reserved for international guests.
